Each pair of suspenders is:

These durable, heavy duty harness type suspenders originated in Belen, New Mexico and recreated in Albuquerque. Each R-suspender® is individually made from start to finish in no assembly line. They are made with thick elastic for years of comfort and daily use. The elastic is sewn to a 3-ply thickness of polypropylene webbing that attaches to a nickel plated slide for easy size adjustments. The back has a sewn slide able cross connection for flexibility.
***Simply place you arms through the straps, and connect each swivel hook to the side belt loops on you pants or skirt. Because the straps are attached to the side belt loops they won't rub or apply pressure on you stomach area.
